The farm holiday accommodation Agriturismo Florandonole is located only a few steps from the village square in Fai della Paganella (958 m) at the entry to the Brenta Dolomites. The house is located amidst greenery and from April onwards it is surrounded by vast, green meadows, hills with hazel and juniper trees, lilacs, and a view of the Adige Valley and Bassa Atesina, the Brenta Dolomites, Bondone and our mountains: Paganella Mountain (2,125 m) with its unmistakable flat shape to the South, and Fausior Mountain (1,554 m) to the West with a cross on its summit guarding over the entire village.
From October to November nature gets ready for the cold winter months, the leaves are blown away by cold winds, and a dense fog rises from the ground and penetrates everything in the surroundings, then again, a strong wind comes and blows everything away so we can enjoy another sunny day - the light of autumn tells a story of past times. The entire landscape seems to be covered by a white, soft and bright cloth when it snows in winter: nature is asleep. Now is the time to prepare the slopes in Paganella for the opening of the ski carousel.
In March the last snow melts under a weak, but convincing sun and with a vehemence, that we usually only see in children, the first flowers sprout beside the last snow fields and spring is coming. How comfortable the heat of the sun is on the skin after the cold winter months. Soon, the colours will prevail, and mother nature will come back to life. The bees collect pollen from the flowers and honey accompanies us through this beautiful season like a sweet gift.
